Ementa: Crítica aos pressupostos das concepções realistas da percepção e da interpretação. Teorias sobre as relações entre vida, compreensão, linguagem e interpretação. Contribuições da fenomenologia e da hermenêutica para os fundamentos das ciências humanas (em particular, sociologia, comunicação, educação e psicanálise), para propiciar, e. g., que os “fatos” sejam vistos num contexto histórico referente à auto-compreensão da sociedade, com o propósito de explicar o sentido dos atos sociais e tornar acessível o sentido de textos e ações, antecipando ou projetando possíveis formas de vida.
